His work spans the full length of the eye: refractive surgery at the front, cataract and lens surgery in the middle, retinal and diabetic eye disease at the back. He explains each condition clearly and guides patients through treatment with reassurance.
My clinical focus is on the anterior segment of the eye. I specialise in laser vision correction, including SMILE Pro, LASIK, and PRESBYOND, as well as lens-based refractive procedures like IPCL, Refractive Lens Exchange, and cataract surgery.
Biography
Dr Muhammad Ikmal Kamil is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a dedicated focus on cataract and refractive surgery. His practice centres on helping patients achieve clearer, more functional vision through modern laser- and lens-based vision correction, with treatment carefully selected according to each patient’s eyes, age, visual needs and lifestyle.
His clinical interests include ZEISS SMILE Pro 2.0, Femto-LASIK, PRESBYOND 2.0 Laser Blended Vision, PRK, IPCL implantation, advanced cataract surgery and premium intraocular lens solutions.
